Hello there. We’re Phil and Rikki and we’re delighted to welcome you to Greenacre Lodge. Since relocating from Hertfordshire to Suffolk in 2023, we’ve been lovingly transforming Greenacre House & Lodge into our forever home.
We hope you enjoy your time with us and thank you for choosing to visit. We’ll leave you in peace to discover the lodge and garden, but if you need any help, or have questions while you’re here, there’s lots of information throughout this website. Also feel free to drop us a WhatsApp or knock on the door. We’re always happy to help and wish you a pleasant stay with us.

We have two double rooms and one single room. We also have a travel cot for babies if needed.

Located north of Bury St Edmunds and south of Diss, Greenacre Lodge is the perfect base for exploring East Anglia.

Fully enclosed with a BBQ and a variety of seating options, including a swing. We also have XL beanbags and jenga.

Private, well-lit, off-street parking for up to 6 cars, directly outside the lodge for easy access.
Amenities & Facilities
When we purchased Greenacre, we had the opportunity to create a lovely guest space, so wanted to make sure visitors truly felt at home when staying in the Lodge. Accessed via our shared drive, we can’t wait to welcome you.
Having stayed at lovely hotels and home stays around the world, we’ve focused on getting the essentials right. You’ll find comfy sofas, squishy beds, complimentary toiletries and a well-equipped kitchen, as well as furnishing our Lodge with everything you’ll need to enjoy a wonderful stay…plus a few little treats for good measure.

Things To Do
We’re fortunate to be located on the border between two of the UK’s most beautiful counties, Suffolk and Norfolk. With an endless choice of places to visit, activities for all ages and an award-winning food scene, there really is something for everyone.
To help you explore what’s on offer, we’ve put together a list of our favourite places, each tried and tested (many times!) and all within an hour or so of Greenacre. We’re also located at the heart of East Anglia’s vibrant vineyard, brewery and distillery scene, details of which can be found on our ‘Things To Do’ page.
Limiting Our Impact
We believe it’s important to try and reduce our impact on the environment wherever possible. That’s why we’ve done away with single use plastics in favour of amber bottles, refilled with Faith In Nature products. This amazing range is vegan-friendly and contains no SLS or parabens. Also, in our efforts to go paperless, you won’t find a printed welcome pack, informational pamphlets, or instruction manuals. Everything you need, including instructional videos on using our appliances, things to do, plus so much more, is available on our website.

Dog Friendly
We’re big dog lovers, so we happily welcome up to two well-behaved furry friends at any time. We supply a blanket and treats for them to enjoy during their visit. The lodge garden is fully enclosed for their safety, plus with lovely countryside walks and footpaths around the village, there’s plenty to explore. We even have a big butler sink in the bootility area, perfect for muddy paws.
If your dog is on the sofas or beds, we please ask that you use the blanket provided and that any deposits made in the garden are bagged and put into the black wheelie bin to the right of the garage.
